Sonics with 7 today were AMAZING! Today’s match report is an amalgamation of parents comments… you can feel the heart warming proudness! What a game Sonics! So proud of you all! Probably the most exciting game of football you’ve played in. Fantastic performance.

Well parents thanks for helping write the report today! William and Freya were immense in defence solid to the ball, driving forwards when needed and tackling strong, their ability to work together is shining through! George could read my mind and when his inspirational push was required he went and did it, he tracked back to help defend on many occasions and worked hard throughout! Tom as centre mid worked his socks off, read the ball well, defended when required and scored a hatrick... the final goal was my favourite.

Jenson predominantly on the right wing battled hard from start to finish, he was running the wing, defending when needed and making some lovely touches of the ball to teammates, he may have secured the best ‘icing on the cake’ goal today as well.

Jack as striker worked really well throughout the game maintaining his position, running at the defenders and always trying to release to team mates or attack the goal, he was even defending at one point, pure team effort!

Ben today in goal was however outstanding and amazingly brave! He had an incredible performance today and was in a league of his own, Bens EPIC GK performance gained him player of the week.

What was lovely was one of opposition parents called him little Gordon Banks and the manager said they haven’t seen an U10 GK like him! Ben your season has been brilliant so far, but today you gained the well deserved player of the week. Well done Ben and all of the sonics!
