AFC Market Bosworth U18s took on the unbeaten Cotgrave side in sunny Nottingham, and what a dream start it was! Within just five minutes, we found ourselves 3-0 up, with two sharp strikes from Rue and a towering header from centre-back Ollie W. Cotgrave managed to pull one back just before half-time, but the momentum was firmly in our favor.

At the break, we talked about mindset, focus, and winning the mental game — and we came out determined to do just that. The second half saw some of our best football yet. One of our youngest players, Tommo, absolutely commanded the midfield, playing with a maturity beyond his years. Meanwhile, Ollie E had an outstanding game, particularly in the second half, making explosive runs down the left flank that kept Cotgrave on the back foot.

At 3-1, our ever-reliable goalkeeper Adam pulled off a stunning save, and we immediately capitalized on the counter, with Ollie H coolly slotting in our fourth goal. From there, the floodgates truly opened. Ollie H grabbed his second, and Charlie W added a late goal to cap off a dominant 6-1 victory.
