It was the boys 3rd game at Newbold, fresh from coach Scott doing a little pitch maintenance the day before.

Josh - fantastic work rate from Josh as he pressed very high winning lots of second balls.

Harrison - another player who worked tremendously hard. Along with his work rate it was great to see him pass the ball confidently.

Zach - nearly broke through a couple of times, with his confidence to take the ball forward really helping the team.

Luca - in his first game for the team he was also captain! Showed fantastic pace and covered so much ground.

James - had a shot in the first half well saved by the goalkeeper. He covered the defence well, made some strong tackles and he was another player whose energy really helped the team. He was named player of the match!

Archie - Nearly got a goal second half. He played defence and attack all with good effect. He is really showing what an adaptable player he is.

Wyatt - played in goal first half and made a few good saves. He played outfield second half and grabbed two goals. His strong running forward really drove the team onwards. He was named player of the match!

Freddie - What a display from him! Brilliant to see a confident and also skillful Freddie taking players on and getting forward. He also got a goal which is his first for the team! He was named player of the match!

It was a fantastic display from the team. It such a short space of time it was evident that the boys are continuing to develop. We welcomed Luca who played his first game for us and he was fantastic. I challenged the boys to get more than one goal and it was amazing to see them score 3!
