The blazers welcomed Aylestone for a 6v6 friendly this morning. The blazers had a squad of 12 players available and ready to go!

Archie - always a willing runner and led the line well. His enthusiasm is brilliant.

Zach - started in midfield and his work rate was excellent. He then volunteered to go in goal and made a crucial stop to his right.

Wyatt - started in goal and made a brilliant save. Then pushed into midfield and sent a lovely pass to Chance.

Easton - covered the defensive areas well and is another player whose enthusiasm is brilliant to see.

Levi - Drove forward at every opportunity with his pace and trickery causing the opposition issues.

Josh - slotted into defence and was excellent. He made several interceptions and clearances to help the team.

Freddie - full of running and carried the ball forward for the team. Always willing to tackle and went on a few brilliant runs for the team.

Luca - his pace and strength is such a key component in his game. But he also displayed what a good footballer he is by playing some brilliant passes.

Harrison - took the gloves yet again and volunteered to go in goal. His made a few good saves and bravely grabbed the ball at the attackers feet to deny a goal.

Nathan - such a hard working player and another player that was so determined this morning. His attitude and ability to drive forward was excellent all game.

James - tenacious to get the ball and when he did he tried to play the ball forward. He covered the ground well and demonstrated his confidence by making several quality turns on the ball. Awarded player of the match!

Chance - what a lung bursting performance from him. He loves to run with the ball and it's brilliant to see him grow in confidence every week. Went close to scoring a couple of times through sheer determination and pace. Awarded player of the match!

It was a tough game for the blazers against a very good team but also a more experienced team. Despite this the boys determination never ceases to amaze us. Their attitude towards wanting to play football the right and hard work is a massive credit to them all. Huge thanks Zach, Harrison and Wyatt for sharing goalkeeper duties to help the team and of course Luca for bringing sweets for everyone as he celebrates his birthday on Monday!
